As the fall is well underway, many of us find ourselves returning to goals for growth, as well as the stress of a busy schedule. I’m pleased to offer short-term skills groups in my Brookline office, with a few perspectives for managing our daily burdens.
Mindfulness in Everyday Life
Next series takes place on Thurssday evenings, October 10, 17 & 24.
These short-term groups (1-4 sessions) discuss the evidence for how Mindfulness and Meditation skills can benefit health, with a focus on learning how to incorporate Mindfulness skills into our daily lives. Small group meetings allow for a warm environment in which to learn and practice a variety of skills, along with group discussion, in order to help practitioners at any level cultivate an increased sense of well-being in daily life.
Anxiety Management Skills
New Sessions beginning October & November
These 8-10 week group sessions focus on evidence-based Cognitive, Behavioral (CBT), and Acceptance-based skills for managing a variety of anxiety symptoms, including General anxiety, OCD, Social or Performance anxiety and more.
Groups are divided by age, for adults and children/adolescents age 10 and up.
