Flavia Germano PhD

For the last 25 years, as a clinical psychologist Dr. Flavia Germano has been supporting clients with anxiety, panic attacks and stress, as well as expats and third-culture kids facing new challenges, besides offering coaching services to all those eager to make their dreams come true. She counsels clients in individual, couple, family and group sessions in English, Italian and German.

Flavia did her graduate work in Rome and completed her Doctoral Internship at Harvard Medical School/McLean Hospital in the U.S. Outside of private practice, Dr. Germano has worked as a supervisor in psychiatric units, a lecturer in a variety of graduate programmes, a trainer in international companies, and as a multicultural psychotherapist in refugee camps and ethnopsychiatry units, in addition to authoring and co-authoring several books on topics of applied psychology.

In the past she has also offered counseling services to younger clients - high-school and university students - and has conducted psychological assessments of children as a paediatric psychologist.
